Site Visit - 24.10.13 2fl ceilings

Rafters and purlin prop require decoration following plasterboard lining completion. CVA to forward proposal.

Dormer construction visible from interior. Insulation to be completed.

Bursar's office-  skirting to be cut back to allow trunking to be fixed directly to wall- to avoid existing floor joist.

Awaiting bulkhead to be constructed- Director MIS office

                                        
6mm ply currently being fitted to 1FL offices 

 Cupboard door ironmongery difficult to fit- CVA to liaise with AC Leigh regarding their specification

 Doors 1st floor routed in lieu of smoke seals

Cornice to be adjusted to ensure meeting at corner/ mitre

Windows to former flat now awaiting secondary glazing- all squaring of openings to be carried out by Selectaglaze. Decorations may need to be made good following installation.

 Straps to 2FL roof installed- between rafters and flank walls

 Purlin prop plates now installed to 2FL- roof structure

Insulation installed between valley deck and valley steel as specified

 
 Asphalt kerb now extended to 150mm height minimum- awaiting parapet flashing

 Dormer flashings underway to Ingrave Road elevation

 2FL spine wall- battens installed for drylining finish

 Dormer flashing to rear elevation. Tiling awaiting completion/ render to cheeks to be completed

 Dormer flashings- soakers awaiting render to cheeks over- render bead to be applied

 Existing leadwork adjacent chimney to be dressed back over lead soakers

 Straps to spine wall 2FL

 Valley awaiting flashing/ tiling.

 Single outlet blocked- new outlets drilled- in compliance with lead sheet association recommendations
 Back of lead dormer completed


2FL soft strip/ demolition completed. Stair opened up
 
 Damage to solid balustrade- to be made good prior to decoration

 TRVs required to radiators within archive room

 Awaiting new solid balustrade detail to 2FL service stair

AC Leigh wired door access readers fitted

Site Visit 14.10.13

 1st fix electrical tray/ builderswork

Valley beam steel/ timber connections

  Felt/ battening underway


Gutter requires amended kerb adjacent parapet. Overall height from lowest level of gutter should be 150mm minimum and upstand formed in 18mm as K11/ 515A. Asphalt/ kerb to be independent of parapet wall by 10mm as in clause K11/515A. Lead flashing to be dressed over- thermal movement to be allowed between two structures. Contractor to amend prior to an further leadwork.
